About this item
The Thermalright Assassin X120 Refined SE is a budget CPU air cooler with four heat pipes and a TL-C12C PWM fan, listed new at $24.01. Builders often look at a part like this when a stock cooler runs loud or hot in a gaming PC or a home workstation.
Will the Assassin X120 Refined SE CPU cooler fit your build?
That depends on your CPU socket, your case and your RAM height. The title doesn't give socket support or cooler height, so look for both in the seller's description or photos.
- Confirm the mounting hardware for your Intel or AMD socket is in the box.
- Check your case's CPU cooler clearance against the cooler height in the listing.
- See whether thermal paste is included or if you'll need to buy some.
- Plug the PWM fan into your motherboard's CPU fan header so the board can control its speed.
It's a low-cost air cooling option worth a look for mid-range builds.
