About this item
Have an old Apple Extended Keyboard sitting in a closet? The tinkerBOY Apple ADB to USB converter is made to connect ADB keyboards and mice, including the AEK and AEKII, to a USB port. It's listed new and is meant for fans of vintage keyboards.
Can an ADB to USB adapter make an old Apple keyboard usable today?
That's what it's for. The adapter goes between the ADB plug and a USB port. Check the listing for setup notes and any supported models beyond the ones named.
- Supported gear: the title names the AEK and AEKII. Ask about any other ADB models you own.
- Cables: check which cables are included.
- Mouse support: the title also mentions ADB mice.
- Your keyboard: test its condition separately. The adapter can't fix worn switches.
