About this item
For $107.49 new, the ASUS TUF Gaming VG249QM5A is a 23.8-inch FHD gaming monitor running at 1920 x 1080. That size and resolution is a popular combination for competitive players who want high frame rates without a top-end graphics card.
Is a 23.8-inch 1080p gaming monitor still worth it?
Yes, for esports and fast shooters. At this size, 1080p looks reasonably sharp from a normal desk distance. It's also easier for midrange graphics cards to drive than 1440p.
- Refresh rate and response time: the title cuts off after the word Fast, so check the full specs.
- Inputs: confirm which HDMI and DisplayPort connections it has for your PC or console.
- Stand: check the photos for tilt or height adjustment.
- Panel type: verify it in the item specifics.
It also works well as a second screen for office work or school.
