About this item
A 1000W Gold power supply gives a high-end gaming PC or GPU-heavy workstation plenty of headroom. This new ASRock SL-1000GW is listed at $108.49 with full modular cabling, so you only connect the cables you need. That makes cable management easier and keeps airflow cleaner.
Is the ASRock SL-1000GW 1000W PSU enough for my build?
Add up the power draw of your CPU and graphics card and leave a margin. 1000W covers many single-GPU builds, but confirm your card's recommended PSU wattage and connector type.
- Connectors: check the listing for the GPU power cables that are included.
- Fit: the title doesn't give dimensions, so measure your case's PSU bay.
- Cables: a modular unit should come with its cable set, so look for it in the photos.
- Upgrades: the extra wattage leaves room for future graphics card upgrades.
