About this item
This Asus GA401 palmrest case with a backlit keyboard comes in silver. It is listed for the GA401, GA401Q, GA401I and GA401U 14-inch laptops. The part is new and priced at $367.99, and it suits owners dealing with worn keys, a broken top case or a dead keyboard backlight.
Is this GA401 backlit keyboard palmrest the right color and layout?
The title says silver and includes 'US', which usually points to a US keyboard layout. Check the photos to confirm the layout and to see that the silver matches your lid.
- Confirm whether the touchpad and speakers are included.
- Match the exact model on your laptop's bottom label.
- Check that the keyboard ribbon cable is attached.
- Back up your data before a full teardown.
On many laptops the keyboard is fixed to the palmrest, so a combined part like this is often the practical repair route. Covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
