About this item
For a desk that looks like it belongs in a Victorian workshop, the K988 steampunk mechanical keyboard combines a metal design with backlighting. It's listed new at $64.92, and the title describes it as a real mechanical keyboard.
Is a steampunk metal keyboard practical for everyday typing?
It can be, if the switches and layout suit you. Writers, gamers and anyone styling a themed setup will enjoy it, but check the details before committing.
- Switches: the switch type isn't in the title, so look for it in the description.
- Connection: confirm whether it's wired USB or wireless.
- Backlight: check the photos for lighting color and any adjustment options.
- Layout: verify the key count and whether there's a number pad.
