About this item
For builders who'd rather choose their own memory and drive, the Firebat AM02 barebone mini PC starts with an AMD Ryzen 7 H255. The seller describes this 8-core, 16-thread chip as an upgraded 8745HS. It's listed as new, at a price that leaves room in the budget for parts.
Is a Ryzen 7 H255 barebone mini PC worth building?
If you already own spare RAM or an SSD, or want a specific capacity, a barebone can be a cheaper route to a capable home office or media PC.
- Memory type: check which RAM standard it uses and how many slots it has.
- Drive bays: confirm the number of M.2 slots.
- Operating system: you'll likely need your own license.
- What's included: look for the power adapter in the photos.
