About this item
Shopping for a gaming PC around $1,650? This open-box desktop's title is simply “gaming pc,” so the photos, item specifics and seller description carry all the weight. At this budget, gamers usually expect a current graphics card and enough memory for high settings, but you'll need to confirm what's actually inside.
How do you judge an open-box gaming desktop with no specs listed?
Start with the parts that determine frame rates, then look at the condition.
- Graphics card: find the exact GPU model and VRAM, since these matter most for gaming.
- Processor and RAM: confirm the CPU model and the memory size and speed.
- Open-box state: ask why it was opened and whether the original packaging and cables are included.
- Storage and OS: check the SSD capacity and whether Windows comes activated.
If the specs are unclear, message the seller before buying. The purchase is covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
