What should I check on an open-box ThinkPad T14 Gen 1?
Gen 1 is an earlier generation of the T14, so the unit's history matters as much as its specs.
- Battery wear and charger: ask for the current capacity versus the design capacity, and confirm a charger is included.
- Operating system: not listed in the title. Confirm what's installed and activated.
- Storage: 256GB is modest, so plan on cloud or external storage for big files.
- Price check: compare with newer T14 listings to make sure the savings are worth it.
