Is an open box 5K Thunderbolt 3 monitor worth it?
It can be, as long as the condition is clear. Open box can mean anything from unused to lightly tested, so read the seller's notes carefully.
- Your computer: confirm that it has a Thunderbolt 3 port that can drive a 5K display.
- Panel condition: ask for photos of the screen powered on and look for marks or bright spots.
- Cables: the title lists the stand and box, so check whether the Thunderbolt cable is included too.
