About this item
An Apple Mac Studio M1 Max from 2022 is still a capable machine for photo editing, music production, coding and video work, and this open-box listing costs well under the price of current models. The title lists the M1 Max at 3.2GHz, 32GB of RAM, a 512GB SSD, model A2615 and part number MJMV3.
Is an open-box M1 Max Mac Studio still worth buying?
For many creators it is, as long as the configuration fits your projects. The 512GB drive is modest, so pair it with external storage if you work with large media libraries.
- Ask why the box was opened and whether the unit was used.
- Confirm that Activation Lock is off and the Mac has been reset.
- Check that the power cable is included.
- Check that the A2615 and MJMV3 numbers match the photos.
