About this item
Building a themed rig with an EVA look? The ASUS ROG Thor 1000W Platinum II EVA Edition V2 is a fully modular power supply, so you only connect the cables your build actually uses.
Is the ROG Thor 1000W fully modular power supply right for my build?
1000W gives headroom for high-end graphics cards and future upgrades. Add up your CPU and GPU power needs first, because most mid-range systems don't need this much.
- Modular cables: on an open box PSU, confirm every cable is present. Never mix in cables from another unit.
- Connectors: ask which GPU power cables come with it so it matches your graphics card.
- Condition: look for photos of the unit, cables and any accessories.
- Prior use: ask whether it was ever installed in a system.
