At minimum you need compatible RAM, an SSD and an operating system. Budget for all three on top of the $599 price.
- RAM type and capacity: check the listing or spec sheet for the supported memory standard and maximum.
- SSD slots: confirm how many drive slots there are and which form factor they take.
- Open box contents: make sure the power adapter and any mounting hardware are included.
- Use cases: once built, an Ultra 9 chip suits development work, home labs and demanding multitasking.
Tinkerers who like to spec every part will appreciate the blank slate. The eBay Money Back Guarantee covers the purchase.
