About this item
The Thermaltake Smart Series 600W PSU is a budget pick for an office desktop, a home server or a modest gaming build. The title lists 600W of continuous power, SLI/CrossFire support and the ATX12V V2.3 standard. It's listed new for $35.99.
Is the Thermaltake Smart Series 600W enough for my build?
It's enough for many single-GPU systems. Add up what your graphics card and CPU need first, and leave some headroom.
- Check the listing for the included connectors, especially the PCIe and CPU power cables.
- Look for an efficiency rating in the description, because the title doesn't give one.
- Use the photos to see whether the cables are fixed or modular.
- ATX12V V2.3 is an older standard. Check what power connector your GPU uses, since some newer cards may need an adapter.
