About this item
This vintage Honeywell 101WN63S-1E mechanical keyboard, linked to Keytronic in the title, is described as NOS (new old stock) in white. It's listed open box at $75. It's a good find for retro computing fans restoring an older PC, or for collectors who like the classic look.
Can a vintage Honeywell mechanical keyboard work with a modern PC?
Possibly. Older keyboards often use connectors that modern computers don't have, so you may need an adapter. Check before you commit.
- Connector: the title doesn't state the plug type. Look closely at the cable in the photos.
- The NOS claim: check the photos for yellowing, dust or wear.
- Function: ask the seller whether it has been tested.
- Layout: confirm the key arrangement suits how you type.
A nice piece of PC history for the right desk. The eBay Money Back Guarantee covers the purchase.
