What should I verify on an open box RTX 5090 gaming laptop?
For a high-end machine at an open box price, the most important step is matching the specs to the seller's photos.
- Ask for a system information screenshot that shows the RTX 5090, Ultra 9 and 64GB of RAM.
- Confirm that the power adapter is included, since a laptop like this needs its own charger.
- Check the photos of the 18-inch 300Hz screen for marks or dead pixels.
- Ask about battery health and why the unit is listed as open box.
