About this item
Hall Effect switches use magnetic sensing instead of traditional contacts. That's the main feature of the ASUS ROG Falchion Ace HFX gaming keyboard, listed open box for $130.
Is a Hall Effect gaming keyboard worth it for competitive play?
Players in fast shooters and rhythm games often prefer magnetic switches because of how quickly and consistently the keys register. If you mostly type documents, a standard mechanical keyboard may be all you need.
- Accessories: open box units sometimes come without cables or extras, so check the photos and description.
- Keycap wear: zoom in for shine or worn legends, which suggest heavy use.
- Layout: the title doesn't give the size or language, so confirm both in the item specifics.
- Software: plan to install the companion app to customize the keys.
