About this item
At $149, this open-box Minisforum DeskMini UM350 mini PC is one of the cheaper ways to get an AMD Ryzen 5 desktop with 16GB of DDR4 RAM and 256GB of storage. It suits a home office, a media corner or a first homelab box.
Can a Ryzen 5 mini PC replace a full-size office desktop?
For email, spreadsheets, browsing and video calls, it generally can. The 16GB of memory keeps many tabs open without much strain.
- Storage: 256GB is modest. Check the listing for the drive type and any free slots.
- Open box: read the condition notes and look for the power adapter in the photos.
- Operating system: the title doesn't say, so confirm whether Windows is installed and licensed.
- Ports: count the display and USB ports you need before you buy.
