About this item
A refurbished HP EliteDesk 800 G3 Mini is one of the cheapest ways into a capable small desktop. This one has an Intel i5-6500T at 2.5 GHz, 8GB of DDR4, a 256GB SSD and Windows 11 Pro for $169.99. Typical buyers use it as a home office PC, a kids' homework computer or a quiet home server for media and self-hosting projects.
Is an older i5-6500T mini PC still worth buying?
For office apps, browsing and light server tasks, it remains capable. Because it uses a sixth-generation chip, check that the Windows 11 Pro install is properly activated.
- Power adapter: confirm the external power supply is included.
- Refurb details: read what testing and cleaning the refurbisher lists.
- Upgrades: check whether the 8GB is a single stick or two.
- Mounting: see if a VESA bracket is part of the deal.
