About this item
Field teams outfitting FZ-G2 devices often search for the Panasonic FZ-VEKG21LM keyboard. This listing describes it as a genuine, backlit, IP65-rated USB unit for the FZ-G2. An independent eBay seller lists it as open box for $379.88, even though the title also says 'NEW.'
Why pick an IP65 backlit keyboard for field work?
An IP65 rating indicates protection against dust and water jets. Backlighting helps when you're typing in dim vehicles, in warehouses or on night shifts. It suits utility crews, public safety units and inspection teams.
- Authenticity: the 'Genuine' claim comes from the seller, so compare the part label and photos with Panasonic documentation.
- Condition: ask why it's marked open box and whether it was ever used.
- Fit: confirm it matches your FZ-G2 version and mounting setup.
- Cable: check the USB cable and connector in the photos.
