About this item
If you're on a budget and looking at a Ryzen 5 3500X gaming PC, this one has a fairly balanced setup: the AMD chip at 3.6GHz, an RX 6500 XT graphics card, 8GB of DDR4 3200 memory and a 500GB NVMe SSD. It's listed as new for $782.99.
Is 8GB of RAM enough in a 3500X and RX 6500 XT build?
It will run lighter games and esports titles, but many newer games and streaming setups do better with 16GB. Expect memory to be your first upgrade.
- Free slots: check whether there are open RAM slots for adding a second stick.
- Storage: a 500GB NVMe drive is fast but fills up after a few large games.
- Software: confirm whether an operating system is installed.
- Connectivity: the title doesn't mention Wi-Fi, so check the networking options.
