About this item
The ASUS ROG G700 gaming desktop is a high-end machine with an Intel Ultra 7 265F, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, a 2TB SSD, an RTX 5070 and Windows 11 Home. An independent eBay seller lists it as Certified - Refurbished for $1,899. It's aimed at gamers and streamers who want plenty of memory and storage from day one.
Is a refurbished ASUS ROG G700 with RTX 5070 a smart buy?
It can be, if the refurbishment was thorough. With 32GB of RAM and 2TB of storage, you're unlikely to need upgrades soon after buying.
- Refurb scope: read what was tested or replaced, and how cosmetic condition is graded.
- Graphics memory: the title doesn't give the RTX 5070's VRAM, so check the specifics.
- Windows 11 Home: confirm it's activated.
- Accessories: see whether a power cord or peripherals are included.
