About this item
Overclockers and laptop tinkerers who want lower temperatures often switch to liquid metal thermal paste. This PolarTronix 5 gram eco pack is listed new for $39.99 and is labeled for multiple applications. That amount suits anyone planning several CPU or GPU jobs.
Is PolarTronix liquid metal thermal paste safe for my build?
It can be, if you're careful. Liquid metal usually conducts electricity and generally shouldn't be used on aluminum. Check what your cooler's base is made of and read the seller's notes first.
- Insulation: Before you apply it, protect nearby components, for example with nail polish or tape.
- Tools: Check whether applicators or swabs are included.
- Experience: If this is your first repaste, standard paste may be the better choice.
- Protection: Covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
Best for experienced builders who want to lower temperatures further.
