About this item
The SiliconDust HDHomeRun Flex Duo (model HDFX-2US) is a TV tuner with two ATSC tuners. It's for cord-cutters who want antenna broadcasts on more than one screen. It's listed new at $109.99 and suits a living room, dorm or home office where a PC, laptop or streaming device does the watching.
What do two ATSC tuners in an HDHomeRun Flex Duo let you do?
Two tuners let you pick up two over-the-air channels at the same time, so two people can watch different channels. You still need your own antenna and a good local signal.
- The title doesn't say whether the tuners are ATSC 1.0 or 3.0. Check the description against the broadcasts in your area.
- Look at the listing photos for the power adapter and network cable.
- Plan where it will sit, within reach of both your antenna lead and your router.
- Since it's sold as new, read the seller's notes on packaging.
