About this item
If you've cut the cord and want over-the-air broadcasts on more than one screen, look at the SiliconDust HDHomeRun Flex 4K. It has four ATSC tuners, and two of them support ATSC 3.0 NextGen TV. It's listed new at $199.99.
Do I need ATSC 3.0 support in an OTA TV tuner?
ATSC 3.0, branded NextGen TV, is the newer broadcast standard. Two compatible tuners help if your local stations carry it, so check what's available in your area first.
- You'll need your own antenna. Check the listing for what's in the box.
- With four tuners you can watch or record several channels at once, which is handy for households.
- Confirm that the apps and devices you plan to watch on are supported.
- Plan where it will sit relative to your antenna and home network.
