About this item
A Raspberry Pi 3 B+ case with fan is a cheap way to protect your board and add active cooling. This new kit includes a case with a 5V fan plus three heat sinks for $24.59. The title says it also fits the Pi 3B.
Do you need a fan case for a Raspberry Pi 3B+?
It's worth it if your Pi runs around the clock as a media center, retro gaming emulator, Pi-hole or home server. Extra airflow and heat sinks help it stay cooler during long sessions. For occasional tinkering, the case is mostly about protection.
- Fan power: 5V fans usually connect to the GPIO pins. Check the listing for wiring instructions.
- Board fit: confirm that your exact model is supported before buying.
- Material: the title doesn't state the case material, so check the photos.
- Not included: the title doesn't mention a board or power supply.
