About this item
A Lenovo ThinkCentre M70q Gen 5 Tiny is built for space-saving desk setups. This new unit (machine type 12TD) combines an Intel i7-14700T with 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD for $630. That's a strong spec sheet for a mini PC.
Is an i7-14700T tiny desktop enough for office and creative work?
The i7 and 32GB pairing gives plenty of headroom for spreadsheets, multi-monitor office work, coding and light photo editing. The title lists no dedicated graphics, so it isn't the right choice for heavy gaming.
- OS: the title doesn't name an operating system, so confirm what's installed.
- Power adapter: tiny desktops use an external power brick. Make sure it's included.
- Mounting: if you plan to put it behind a monitor, ask about a VESA bracket.
- Displays: check the port list to make sure it fits your monitor setup.
