About this item
For $40, the SteelSeries Apex 3 TKL wired RGB gaming keyboard gives budget gamers a tenkeyless layout that frees up desk space for wide mouse swipes. The black board is listed as new and has a wired connection and a QWERTY layout. The seller also describes it as water resistant, which helps with the occasional spilled drink near a PC.
Is a tenkeyless gaming keyboard right for you?
A TKL keyboard drops the number pad. If you play shooters or MOBAs and rarely type numbers, the extra mouse room is worth it. Spreadsheet users may miss the numpad.
- Box contents: check the listing photos to see what is included.
- Layout: QWERTY is listed, so confirm the language from the keycaps.
- Setup: it's wired, so plan a cable run to your PC.
- Use case: a good fit for a first gaming desk, a dorm room or a secondary rig.
