About this item
Running large language models on your own desk instead of renting cloud GPUs is the pitch behind the ASUS Ascent GX10 AI supercomputer. This open-box unit (GG0016BN) lists an NVIDIA GB10, 128GB of RAM and a 4TB SSD at $3,997.00.
Is an open-box ASUS Ascent GX10 a good alternative to cloud AI?
For developers and researchers who prototype and test models often, owning the hardware can make sense, and 128GB of memory leaves room for bigger models. It isn't aimed at gaming or everyday desktop use.
- Why it's open box: ask whether it was returned, used for testing or just unboxed.
- Software state: confirm it has been reset and whether the original OS image is intact.
- Included parts: check for the power adapter and any cables shown in stock photos.
- Seller track record: at nearly $4,000, review feedback before buying.
