About this item
This open-box Apple iMac all-in-one desktop in silver is listed at $480.00, but the title stops at the color, with no year, screen size, processor, RAM or storage. That means the homework happens before checkout.
How do I identify which Apple iMac model this is?
Ask the seller for a screenshot of About This Mac or the serial number, which reveals the year, chip and configuration. With that, you can judge whether $480 is fair and whether current macOS versions will run on it.
- Chip type: Intel and Apple silicon iMacs differ a lot in speed and software support.
- Memory and drive: confirm RAM amount and whether storage is an SSD.
- Activation Lock: the iMac should be erased and removed from the previous owner's account.
- What's included: check for a power cable, keyboard and mouse.
