About this item
The Dell E1715S 17 inch business monitor keeps things simple. It has a 1280x1024 SXGA LED LCD panel in the squarer 5:4 shape, VGA and DisplayPort inputs, and a stand. Some offices, labs and industrial software setups still need that older aspect ratio. It's also handy for reading long documents without wasted width.
Who should buy a 17 inch 5:4 Dell monitor today?
It's best for replacing a matching screen, running legacy PCs over VGA, or adding a budget display for email and data entry. Gamers and creators will want something wider and sharper.
- Cables: check which video cable and power cord come with it.
- Inputs: newer laptops may need an adapter, since the title lists only VGA and DisplayPort.
- Price: $89.98 for a new unit, so compare per-screen cost if you're buying several.
- Mounting: look in the specifics for VESA support if you plan to use an arm.
