About this item
Built for job sites, utility trucks and public safety work, the Dell Pro Rugged 14 RB14250 in this new listing combines an Intel Ultra 7 165U, 16GB of RAM, a 256GB SSD, a touchscreen and LTE connectivity. The title also mentions a Pro warranty that runs to 2030.
Is a rugged 14-inch laptop with LTE worth $2,299?
For crews who work outdoors or away from Wi-Fi, a rugged design with built-in LTE can be worth the premium. For desk-only use, a standard laptop costs far less.
- Ask the seller which carriers and SIM type the LTE modem supports.
- Request the service tag so you can confirm the warranty end date yourself.
- 256GB is modest, so plan network or cloud storage for large files.
- Verify any included chargers, docks or mounting accessories.
