About this item
Gamers who like to show off their hardware will appreciate this Peacock open frame gaming desktop PC in red and black. Instead of hiding inside a closed case, the parts sit on display. The listing mentions HDMI, DVI, USB 3.0 and Ethernet connectivity, and it's offered open box at $714.98.
What should I check on an open frame gaming PC?
The title skips the CPU, graphics card, RAM and storage, so confirm the full spec list before you judge the value. Open frames also leave components exposed to dust.
- Graphics card: verify the model, since the HDMI and DVI ports could come from the motherboard or the GPU.
- Placement: think about dust, pets and kids around exposed parts.
- Packing: ask the seller how an open-frame build will be packed.
- Operating system: check whether one is installed.
A fun centerpiece for gamers who like to see their hardware.
