About this item
The MSI Trident 3 gaming PC in this listing comes with an Intel i5, a GeForce 1660 graphics card and 8GB of DDR4 RAM at 2666MHz, priced at $487.95 and listed as new. It's aimed at entry-level gamers who want an affordable prebuilt for esports titles and older favorites.
Can the MSI Trident 3 with a 1660 handle modern games?
Popular esports and lighter titles are a reasonable fit for this pairing at modest settings. Demanding new releases may push both the GPU and the 8GB of memory, so expect to adjust settings.
- Ask which i5 generation is installed, since the title doesn't say.
- Confirm whether the GPU is a 1660, 1660 Super or 1660 Ti.
- Check the storage size and type, which aren't listed.
- Consider a RAM upgrade to 16GB for smoother multitasking.
