About this item
ARCTIC MX-7 thermal paste comes in an 8g amount here and is marketed for CPUs, consoles and graphics cards. At $12.50 new, it is an easy add-on for a fresh PC build or a cooler swap. It also works for a repaste on an older laptop or console that runs hot.
How much thermal paste do you need for a CPU or GPU?
A pea-sized dot or a thin line is usually enough for a desktop CPU. An 8g amount covers many applications, which makes it practical for builders and repair techs.
- Clean off old compound with isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth.
- Check whether an applicator or spreader is included.
- Look for date or batch info in the photos if freshness matters to you.
- Opening a console or GPU may affect any manufacturer warranty.
