About this item
With this MSI Trident 3, you're buying older hardware in new condition. It has an Intel Core i5 7th Gen at 3.06 GHz, 8GB of RAM and two drives (1TB plus 128GB) in a small desktop. It's listed new at $555, so compare it carefully with newer machines at a similar price.
Is a new MSI Trident 3 with a 7th Gen i5 still worth buying?
That depends on what you'll use it for. The 7th Gen processor is several generations old, so check Windows 11 compatibility first. Expect it to handle lighter games, media and everyday tasks better than demanding new releases.
- Graphics: the title doesn't name a GPU, so look for it in the description.
- Two drives: confirm which is the SSD and which is the hard drive for files.
- Operating system: check which version of Windows is installed.
- Power: make sure the power adapter is included.
