About this item
The Corsair Galleon SD 100 mechanical keyboard shows up here as an open box unit at $290, from an independent eBay seller. Open box can mean many things, from a box that was only opened to a board that was briefly used, so the listing details matter more than usual.
What should you check on an open box Corsair Galleon SD 100?
Start with the seller's description and photos. They should tell you how the keyboard was handled and what is still included.
- Contents: confirm that every cable, accessory and piece of packaging is listed or pictured.
- Condition: zoom in on the keycaps and case for marks, shine or scuffs.
- Function: ask the seller whether all keys and features were tested.
- Specs: the title gives no layout or switch details, so confirm those in the item specifics.
