About this item
Lost the backplate during a rebuild or cracked a clip? This AMD AM4 CPU cooler mounting bracket and backplane base is a cheap fix for Ryzen motherboards. An independent eBay seller lists it new at $4.97.
Will this AM4 mounting bracket fit my cooler?
It's made for AMD AM4 Ryzen boards, but coolers attach in different ways, so compare it with your current hardware first.
- Contents: check the photos to see which pieces are in the set, such as the backplate, brackets and screws.
- Material: the title doesn't say, so look for it in the item details.
- Cooler style: confirm your heatsink mounts the same way as the hardware in the photos.
- Socket: make sure your board is AM4 and not a newer socket.
Handy for DIY builders, repair benches and anyone swapping out a stock cooler.
