About this item
Need a fanless mini PC for a counter, reception desk or back office? The Qotom Q305P pairs a 3205U processor with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It adds a COM port for older serial devices and sells new for $64.99. The seller suggests it for office, home, bank and hotel use.
Why choose a fanless mini PC with a COM port?
With no fan, there's no fan noise and no fan to clog with dust. A serial port lets you connect legacy equipment such as some receipt printers, scanners or scales.
- 32GB fills fast, so check whether the drive can be upgraded.
- Confirm whether an operating system is included or you'll install your own.
- Make sure the power adapter is in the box.
- Keep expectations to basic tasks. 4GB of RAM suits single apps and light browsing.
