What can a 2012 Mac Mini still do today?
It works for light duties such as a kitchen or kids' computer, a simple media box, a home server project or a retro Mac setup. With 4GB of memory, keep your expectations modest.
- Check which macOS version is installed, since older hardware has limits on updates.
- Confirm a power cable is included, and plan on your own keyboard, mouse and display unless the seller lists them.
- Ask whether the 500GB drive is a hard drive or an SSD.
- Review the photos for scuffs to judge the Grade A claim.
