About this item
Clear resin changes how an artisan cap looks on a lit keyboard. This transparent Mew artisan resin keycap is listed for Cherry MX switches and marked as opened but never used, priced at $245.67. It is a premium choice for collectors and RGB board owners who want the backlight to shine through a centerpiece key.
Is a transparent Mew keycap worth it over an opaque one?
With per-key or underglow lighting, a clear cap shows off the light in a way solid resin cannot. On a board without lighting, the difference is subtler.
- Clarity: check the photos for cloudiness, bubbles or dust inside the resin.
- Stem: confirm a snug fit on your MX-compatible switches.
- Size: no dimensions are given, so ask the seller about its height.
- Lighting test: if possible, ask for a photo of it on a lit board.
