About this item
A Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook is about as simple as laptops get. This open-box 14M868 listing sells one for $129 with a 14-inch screen, an Intel N100 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of eMMC storage.
Is a Chromebook with 4GB RAM and 64GB enough for school?
For Google Classroom, Docs, web research and video lessons, it generally is. ChromeOS keeps most work in the cloud, so the small drive matters less than it would on Windows. It won't run full desktop programs like Photoshop or most PC games.
- Update support: look up this model's ChromeOS auto-update expiration date on Google's support page.
- Screen: the title doesn't list the resolution, so check the specifics.
- Account: make sure it has been reset and isn't enrolled with a school or business.
- Charger: confirm it's included.
