About this item
Red switches are a popular pick for fast games because they're linear, and this RK61 RGB mechanical gaming keyboard comes with them in a hot-swappable design, new at $89.99. Hot-swap means if reds stop feeling right, you can try other switches later without soldering. It's a fit for gamers and anyone experimenting with their first mechanical board.
Are red switches on the RK61 good for typing too?
Many people type on linear reds all day, though some prefer a bump. If you're unsure, the hot-swap sockets make it easy to change later.
- Check key count and layout in the photos to see how arrows and function keys are handled.
- Confirm the connection type; wired or wireless isn't stated.
- See whether a switch puller and cable are included.
- Note the brand of the red switches if listed.
