About this item
Need a no-frills HP 15.6-inch laptop for homework, email and streaming? Model 15-fd0123dx lists an Intel Core i3-1315U, 16GB of DDR4 RAM and a 256GB SSD, and it's offered open box for $285. The title notes it comes without the original box.
Is an Intel Core i3 laptop with 16GB RAM enough for students?
For documents, web apps, video classes and streaming, yes. The 16GB of RAM helps when you have many tabs open, but it isn't built for heavy gaming or video editing.
- 256GB of storage is modest, so cloud storage or a USB drive helps.
- Since there's no box, confirm the charger is included.
- Check which Windows version is installed, since the title doesn't say.
- Check the photos for screen and keyboard condition.
