About this item
Competitive players chasing faster inputs should look at the SteelSeries Apex Pro Gen3 keyboard, listed here new at $119.99. The title highlights OmniPoint 3.0 HyperMagnetic switches and Rapid Trigger, two features aimed at ranked shooters.
What does Rapid Trigger do on the SteelSeries Apex Pro Gen3?
Instead of waiting for a key to pass a fixed reset point, Rapid Trigger re-arms it as soon as you start lifting. In FPS games, that can mean snappier strafing and tighter movement.
- Best fit: esports and FPS players, though it also handles everyday typing and office work.
- Layout: the title doesn't say whether it's full-size or TKL, so check the size in the listing photos.
- Box contents: check that the listing mentions the cable and any accessories.
