About this item
This GMKtec mini PC pairs an Intel i7-1185G7 (up to 4.8GHz) with 16GB DDR4 RAM and a 1TB SSD, and it lists Windows 11 Pro as the operating system. It's listed new at $499.99 and suits anyone who wants a full desktop without a tower taking up floor space, whether that's a home office, a study nook or a living room setup.
Is a mini PC with an i7-1185G7 enough for office and school work?
For spreadsheets, browsing with many tabs, video calls and coursework, 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD give comfortable headroom. It isn't sold as a gaming machine, so demanding 3D titles are outside its brief.
- Ports: the title doesn't list them, so check the photos for USB, display outputs and Ethernet.
- Included items: confirm the power adapter and any mounting bracket are in the box.
- Windows 11 Pro: ask the seller whether it's activated.
- Upgrades: check whether RAM and storage can be swapped before planning expansion.
