About this item
At $249.99, the ASRock BC-250 Steam Machine listing is a low-cost way into living-room PC gaming. The title lists 16GB of GDDR6 memory and a 128GB SATA M.2 drive, and the seller presents it as a Steam Machine-style box.
Is the ASRock BC-250 a good budget Steam Machine?
For tinkerers who enjoy setup work, it could be good value. It's less suited to buyers expecting a plug-and-play console, so read the description carefully.
- Storage: 128GB fills up quickly with modern games, so plan for extra space.
- Software: check which operating system is installed, if any.
- Power and case: check whether a power supply, case and cooling are included.
- Outputs: look at the photos for the display connection you'll use.
