About this item
If you repaste PCs regularly, a 45 g syringe of Arctic MX-4 thermal paste goes a long way. It is meant for CPUs and GPUs alike. At $20.99 new, it suits PC repair shops, hobbyists refreshing old laptops and anyone maintaining a few gaming rigs.
Is a 45 g tube of MX-4 thermal paste too much for one build?
For a single CPU, probably. A large syringe makes more sense when you plan many applications over time, such as cleaning up several desktops or a graphics card.
- Confirm the listing shows 45 g, since smaller sizes can look similar in photos.
- Check for a sealed syringe and whether an applicator is included.
- Clean old compound off with isopropyl alcohol before applying fresh paste.
- Keep the cap tightly closed between jobs.
