About this item
Sticky keys, a dead touchpad or a cracked top case can all be fixed in one swap with this new HP 17-BY palmrest keyboard assembly, listed for the HP 17-BY and 17-CA series. It combines the palmrest, a non-backlit keyboard and a PTP touchpad under part number L92785-001.
Which HP 17-CA and 17-BY laptops does this palmrest fit?
The title marks it as the ODD version, meaning models with an optical drive bay. If your laptop has no drive bay, the cutout may not match.
- Compare L92785-001 with the sticker on your current assembly.
- The keyboard is non-backlit, so it won't add keyboard lighting.
- Check the photos for color and port cutouts.
- It's listed at $352.18, and your purchase is covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
It's best suited to repair shops and confident DIYers.
