About this item
A Dell Pro Max Tower T2 (model FCT2250) built around the Intel Core Ultra 9 285 is a strong base for engineering, CAD-style work or heavy multitasking. This open-box listing comes with 8GB of RAM and a 1TB NVMe drive. The seller's title also notes a warranty date of 08/29.
Is 8GB of RAM enough in a Core Ultra 9 workstation tower?
It's enough for light office tasks, but it will hold the processor back. Most buyers looking at this class of desktop should budget for a memory upgrade.
- Warranty note: ask the seller to confirm the 08/29 coverage and whether it transfers to you.
- Memory: check the listing for free RAM slots before buying extra modules.
- Graphics: the title doesn't name a GPU, so confirm what is installed.
- Open box: review the photos and condition notes for included cables.
